Dojížďka obyvatel za nákupy zboží denní potřeby
Večeřová, Vendula
The diploma thesis deals with the commuting of residents for shopping for daily necessities. The aim was to identify the practices of the residents of selected rural municipalities in the South Moravivan region when making purchases. Three municipalities of different sizes were chosen for the research. The research was based on a questionnaire survey among residents of selected municipalities and a questuonnaire survey with representatives of municipal authorities of selected municipalities. Furthermore, a field investigation was carried out in grocery stores, which supplemented the research results. The results of this work is the finding that the respodents of the surveyed municipalities tend to use the large supermarkets located nearby to buy food. Small grocery stores are mostly used by seniors. Shopping behaviour has not changed for the majority of respondents over the past 10 years.
Accessibility analysis of Prague public transport stops
Kapusta, Michal ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Lysák, Jakub (referee)
This document concerns with the network analysis of accessibility and space inclusion of the Prague public traffic stops. The main theme of the background research is accessibility and network analysis problematics. During analysis, the ESRI ArcGIS 9.3 software was used to test the time accessibility zone hypothesis as well as households' and companies' distribution. The map of spatial inclusion was also created for separate types of transports as well as for all public transport stops in Prague as well. The hypothesis of space public transport stop inclusion area increase away from center was proven to be true, however the dependancy of the households allocation in relation to the city center was not proven. The similiraity between households and companies allocation was found not to be fully provable. key words: accessibility, space inclusion, network analysis, Prague public city transport, ESRI ArcGIS 9.3

Deployment of kindergartens and defining their catchment areas in the South Bohemian Region.
ŠRUC, Lukáš
This bachelor's work focuses on the deployment of kindergartens and defining their catchment areas in the South Bohemian Region. The main goal is a more detailed analysis of the parent education and limitation of catchment areas in relation to transport accessibility. The theoretical part deals with the problems associated with the regions, transport, mobility and spatial characteristics of preschool education in terms of services. In the methodological part is described data base with the issue of the acquisition, evaluation questionnaire, draft of possible methods determining the catchment area with the help of public transport and the availability of preschool device to individual transportation. In the analytical part are evaluated findings on capacity and charts of parent education, creating catchment circuits for each municipality with kindergarten within districts and defining the catchment areas of sufficient or lacking capacity. Everything is compared with the number of children aged 3 to 6 years for the current situation and development for future comparison is made with the age category of 0-3 years. An important component of this work is map outputs, which presents selected characteristics of maternal education in the area.
The analysis of transport gradient between cities and administrative regions in the Czech Republic
Běhounek, Josef ; Toth, Petr (advisor) ; Vochozková, Jacqueline (referee)
The work focuses on regionalisation represented by gradients of population centers (meaning generally all localities with human settlement). The theoretical part deals with various approaches on creation of regions and its formation (using various models). One of the possible applications into practise of regionalisation models including its evaluation is presented in the practical part. Namely the practical part deals with the Reilly model which is formed on data about commuting (because commuting which represents gradients between centers the best). As a variable we use commuting between pairs of centers in which one center represents a nodal center while the other center is dependent on the first one and is situated in the same administrative region (okres). The work shows that the results of the model show real relationships between gradients based on commuting to work and those based on commuting to education but the results are not satisfactory in absolut numbers because the real power of nodal center is even stronger than it was expected. Nevertheless the conclusion is not disproval of possible application of Reilly model. The conclusion is that the model has to be calibrated with more variables in order to be satisfactory.
Spádovost obcí Jihomoravského kraje s ohledem na vybrané služby
Schindlerová, Monika
This thesis deals with catchment area of communities in South Moravian Region for selected services. In theoretical part gravity model and proximity analysis in Geographic information systems are present. Other part evaluate distribution of selected services in communities in the South Moravian region. With Thiessen polygons and Reilly's model are defining catchment area. In final part of thesis problems about distribution of selected services in communities and the limitations of models used for determinig the catchment area are discussed.
The analysis of public facilities and catchment of urban areas to services in selected districts of South Bohemian region (Strakonice, Písek, Tábor).
STAŇKOVÁ, Vendula
This work deals with the topic of catchment of urban areas Strakonice, Písek and Tábor. Main goal is analysis of public facilities and consequent making of catchment in all urban areas of monitored area, based on Reilly gravity model. From estabilished data there is created map, on which is based comparing of regionalisation administrative division and catchment monitored area.
TRAVEL OF INHABITANTS FOR SERVICES IN ORP TŘEBOŇ REGION.
KVANTOVÁ, Radka
This bachelor thesis is analysing processes related to service availability in selected region. Inspected area is covering extended district of administration of Třebon and related communities of district of České Budějovice, Soběslav, Trhové Sviny and Jindřichův Hradec. This selected area covers 42 municipalities in the region. The thesis is based on questionnaire research in selected villages. Following evaluation questionnaire defined a selection regions of education, health-care, retail and general service. As subsequent step, selected territories with it?s demand were compared with service capacity of related villages.
